Types of Therapy
Individual Therapy
Individual Therapy allows mothers to have a space alone to discuss stress related issues or other challenges that are impacting their ability to operate at their full potential as a mother and woman. Moms are provided support to talk through these issues, process emotions, and most importantly build their skill set.
Support Groups
Support Groups offer mothers the space to engage with other moms who may share similar experiences. Groups are usually centered around a specific topic and typically last for 8 weeks. The group sessions are closed, meaning the same group of women will meet for 8 weeks. This offers the opportunity for participants to become comfortable with one other, and for each session to build on the previous one.
Co-Parenting counseling
Co-Parenting counseling offers support to parents who are not in a relationship but are working together to parent the same child(ren). This form of therapy can help the parents process past experiences together, improve communication, and work together to provide care that is best for their children.
Parenting Groups
Parenting Groups are centered around specific age groups and developmental stages of childhood. Mothers are provided with informational and emotional support as they are navigating the changes that their children are experiencing. Participants will learn more childhood development, with the goal of helping them to improve their approach to parenting and better their relationship with their child(ren)
